Reasons Your Cottage Should Be On the Bruce Peninsula

You’ll be Surrounded by Beauty

You have access to the best that nature has to offer at your doorstep: enjoy the peace and tranquil wilderness of your back yard, the Lake Huron Sunsets, the beautiful crystal clear waters that surround you on The Bruce, and the many spectacles that you can experience like The Grotto, Fathom Five National Park, The Bruce Caves, Sauble Beach, and much more.

There’s so Much to Do

No matter how many times you travel up to the Bruce Peninsula there is always a new adventure to go on! In Tobermory you could enjoy a glass bottom boat tour, some of the best diving in the country, a ride on The Chicheemaun, Flowerpot Island, helicopter rides and more.  The lesser known area of Oliphant features a marina (one of the many around the Bruce), some beautiful islands to tour, and quiet, shallow beaches that make for some of the best wind surfing in the world. In Sauble Beach you could see one of the best sunsets in the world on over 10 kms of sandy beach, weekly car shows, a main street of shopping and food and events all summer long.

All Year Long

Although there is much to do and enjoy in summer on the Bruce and we wouldn’t want to spend it anywhere else, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention how amazing all seasons are on the Bruce Peninsula. Fall on the Bruce Peninsula is amazing to see; you are surrounded by beautiful colour and cool, crisp air. In the winter we have some of the best snowmobile trails, cross country skiing and of course the Wiarton Willie Festival!

We’re Here for You

One of the great things about the Bruce Peninsula is that you are never far from useful amenities.  You can enjoy the peace, quiet and privacy of your cottage but rest assured that there are medical facilities, grocery stores and restaurants within a quick drive if you need them.

You’ll be Here Before You Know it

Why battle the 400 series stop-and-go traffic for hours on a Friday afternoon, then fight the same stressful traffic on the way home Sunday night?  On your drive to the Bruce Peninsula you get to enjoy the scenic but shorter drive on smaller highways and back roads.

The friendly people of the Bruce Peninsula make all the difference.  Your neighbours become your friends and the Happy Hours you enjoy feel like you’re being reunited with family.  Coming to your cottage on The Bruce feels like coming home.
